Soft lead vs. HP 32 S&W Long

Loaded 32 S&W Long with 2.7 Universal with a Federal 85 g HP and a 90 g Lee SWC Velocity 850fps. Shot into dry newspaper at about 5 yrds. Penetration about 5 in. See pics of results Soft lead is better (not by much)

Dry pack is no test for a hollow point, They open from hydraulics. Soak the paper or try water filled milk jugs. All you did was fold the hollow point onto itself.
