:coffee: I finally got around to working with a rusted barrel on my 45 cal. Thompson center rifle. ---- I had oiled it well and let it sit for about a month--I ran patches thru it with (eliminator) rust remover and degreaser made by the Marrick Co. then used steel wool (med. grade) then cleaned with lacquer thinner then oiled it well --- came out pretty good overall and was satisfied with results.
