HAWKEYE Rifle and Pistol Club Had a Military Rifle BenchRest Shoot on 4/16/05 it was open to any Military rifle pre 1945. They had 4 classes Issue, Mod Irons, Mod Scope, and M1 Garand. They had 16 entries and shot 20 shots at 100yards and 20 shots at 200yards. Any ammo is allowed but the cast bullet shooters cleaned up all but the Garand Class.
