can anyone tell me the main differences between these two?

Is one better than another? I'm interested in oner of these for a 44 special.

Well, the 429667 is a round, flat nose cowboy design with a bevel base.

The 429421 is a SWC design by Elmer Keith and has proven itself over the years as "the" bullet for the .44 Magnum and from my experience, with the .44 Special also.

I have both and have shot both extensively and the 429421 wins as my favorite....by a large margin./beagle

i had to slightly modify my carrier in my 92 for the 429421.
well worth it as it proved to be the most accurate of my 4 diff 44 molds in both the revolver and the levergun.
it even beat the g/c'ed 240 swc from rcbs. [a good boolit too] which feeds fine through the rifle perfectly
