Well i have been reloading for almost a year. I am now getting interested in casting my own boolits. Have been reading a good many of the threads here seems like lots of good info. so i am ready to start absorbing. i will be casting for 9mm, 44 mag, mostly and possibly later 30-30 win and 45-70.

treerooster, WELCOME. I would suggest you get the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook. This will give you the basic knowledge and help you to better understand what you read here. You can then ask better questions and understand the answers.

I'll suggest you look at the "stickys" at the top of the catagories. There you'll find answers to many questions and much, often hard earned, wisdom.

This can save you much frustration.

I'll also say, don't hesitate to ask.
