Hi, I am putting together reduced loads for the .270W using TrailBoss powder. Can I buy cast bullets heavier than 150 grain? From where? Cheers.

I checked the site & the heaviest in .27 caliber is 150 grain. Thanks anyhow for the idea Wayne. Cheers.

Checking the various bullet designs I don't see a mold cut for over 150 gr from any factory. Your best bet seems to be contacting Mountain Molds or Cast Bullet Engineering to cut you a mold heavier than standard and pour your own.I am unsure as to whether the standard twist would stabalize anything heavier than 150.

I would be surprised if the standard 10" twist would stabilize a heavier bullet at CB velocities. Barnes used to make a 180 grain RN, but even at jacketed speed, I think it was marginal. The heaviest available now is the 160 Nosler.
