make a cast bullet cast from WW SOFTER by heating up to 450 deg. BUT instead of droping in cold water you leave in the oven and lower the temp slowly over several Hr's ???

Yes........the bullets will be softer especially for a 4 to 5 days. They will eventually age harden to their full hardness in around 2 weeks time and in my experiences they have remained a bit softer than if air cooled i.e. wheel weight bullet at 12 BHN air cooled vs hot oven cooling of 9-10 BHN.
