Does anyone have a favorite XMP-5744 load for .30-40 in a 1895 Winchester?
I'm using Lyman/Ideal 311284 with gas checks - my examples weigh ~225gr. lubed and with gas check. I've been using SR-4759, but would like to try out this powder to compare the two - I'm looking for a load in the ~1700-1750fps range.
