Do you have one hundred forty-six thousand dollars laying around?
Way I read that as 200,000 lbs at 73 cents per lb.

reclaimed shot has a lot of arsenic in it for casting bullets. Is good for blending though.
All trap ranges anymore per EPA must have the fields cleaned up regularly. You could get the name of the contractor who does that in your part of the world and they may sell you some. If you want anything cheap you usually have to get it straight from the source generating the scrap. First middle man who get it seams to add a zero on the end of their purchase price so that .05 WW becomes a .50 WW.

Last year I offered my local service garage 50 cents for their WW . They looked up on ebay for what they sold for and tried to charge me that $1.00. After I turned them down they took them to the scrap yard where they sold three bucket full for 5 cents. That was thrown into a 55 gallon drum and I bought that 1,100 pounds for 33 cents. Moral of the story is most auto shops aren't interested in making any money unless they can gouge someone.

The way I read it was $.073 per pound.

Yeah, I read it as 7.3 cents/lb. That's $14,600 for 200 thousand pounds of metal. I'm not sure where I'd put it.

And the location is cryptic. It says Phoenix, AR (Arkansas). There is no Phoenix, AR, but there is a Phenix, AR (no "o"). They may mean Phoenix, AZ (Arizona), but their state abbreviation is wrong if that's what they meant.

Stew

Sounds like a group buy may be in order if it's $.073/lb.

This could be from the public range at Ben Avery here in Phoenix. Somebody just got done mining that range so it would be bullet scrap, not lead shot.
The person posting it may not know the difference.

The excavator is still behind the berm on the 22 range.

If you're looking for a bunch of recovered bird shot, You might give this guy a shout - http://mcneeleyenterprises.com/page.php?2

I got about 5,000 pounds off of them about a year ago & divied it up with a few buddies. Mike was very good to deal with. Prices were good back then. I don't know what they are now.
