Also can this frame b color case hardened

Caliber? Wha do you plan to do with your custom?
I have three customs built by Jack Huntington, and I am exceedingly happy. I will post a picture of a friend's Huntington built .475 Linebaugh built on a Blackhawk frame.......

.44mag. Mostly deer hunting and eliminating pesky water jugs at long range also if I'm ever able my dream hunt for multiple larger game,elk bear and cariboo

nothing wrong with a custom 44 mag. Ive got a few of them Personaly i think a flutted cylinder looks better on a 6 shot gun and in 5.5 inch i prefer a barrel banded round barrel to a octagon but in a 4 5/8s or 4 inch gun an octagon is really sharp. But thats just my opinion and you have to buy what you like the looks of.

An octagon is going to be heavier than a round barrel. If it was me, I'd swap the cost of an octagon for a custom cylinder so it can shoot any length 44 ammo.

in oh we are limited to 5" or more for deer hunting saw 1 octagon bbl and liked the looks.does anyone make aftermarket sights for sbh been loohing and cant even find them at brownells

also will 1-20 factory twist work for 300-330grnboolits or should I goto1-19,18?

There are aftermarket sights available but the name escapes me....maybe Belt Mountain???
The alloy frame cannot be casehardened but steel frames are available
