460 Rowland

I am new to casting. Does anyone have a good hard recipe for 460 Rowland 200 gr bullets?

Welcome to the forum ! Don't know much about the 460 Rowland but I would start with some 45 ACP data and work up if no one gives you any better ideas.

Nothing hard and fast rule wise, but work with a good 15-18 BHN alloy and a hard lube. I use Longshot in the ammo I load with jacketed bullets. Haven't worked with lead in the Rowland yet and doubt I will. I load the Rowland for a buddy who has a shop in CA. He's the state distributor for Masterpiece Arms and I load the .460 for him to sell in his shop along with the guns. No one there wants lead for the Rowland.
