$761!!!!!!!

Makes one wonder if it's a mould collecter or someone who's actually going to use it that's bidding on it.

50 Express is hard enough to come by so a mold would be high on anyone's list.

BY the way I looked at those pic's and that thing is spotless!

If I had the cash for a Winny 86 in 50 express paying that for a original mold wouldn't be out of line!

Scott--

It makes the original express bullet for the .50-110. Lee doesn't make such a mould.

How much does Doug Turnbull want for a new one? Anybody know?

I'm willing to bet that I can have a BUNCH of molds made for that price...to spec.

I'm willing to bet that nobody would give you a thousand dollars for one of them. :coffeecom

Looks like a VERY rare mold for a relatively rare and very high dollar rifle in absolutely
mint, apparently unused condition.

For the serious Win 1886 collector this is a real nice piece of gear to add to the accessory
pile.

Way out of my price range, but if I had won the lottery --- maybe not.

Turnbull want big cash for his restorations and, from what I've seen, they are worth every penny!

For a completely restored 86 in 50-110 that $1052 price tag is cheap!

I got quoted 4K to restore a 1910 94 SRC in 32 special, maybe! Sadly I thought that was more than the gun was worth.

So go from there gentlemen.

I could see paying a couple bills for a collectable accessory for a collectable rifle. But a grand is crazy...

I thought eBone no longer allowed firearms related stuff.

I was at an auction yesterday and a friend of mine had the high bid on an 1886 in 50-110 Express for 12,000. Me, I just bought a vintage sewing machine and some pottery, and also a bicycle for the wife.

e-bay won't allow anything that is necessary for the gun to fire. Moulds, grips, sights are still OK.

I'll bet that mould never gets above room temperature again (if it ever did).

looks to have been re-finished to me - I think somebody got taken for a ride! I guess there is one born every minute.

Ebay sometimes have good deals on used reloading equipment. Other times you can buy an item new cheapier than what you can buy on ebay. After spending tooo much money on reloading equipment/ componets (according to the wife/boss) i try to find the best deal. I tried several times to get molds on ebay, but other people were always willing to spend more than new cost. I have found that fm reloading has the best price, but longest shipping time. If your not in a hurry for an item you might try them. 9.99 shipping up to 100.00 order. also customer service seems slow as well
