Tumble Lube 45-70 bullets

Just wondering if i can tumble lube my 45-70 bullets with liquid alox when using the 457193 mold.

Good morning
No reason you cannot. I have tumble lubed all sorts of boolits for all sorts of reasons.
If you can shoot them "as cast" and Tumble lube will be enough lube then it sure beats handling them one at a time. It is all going to depend on application.

I have not tried it with the 457193 yet, but I used LLA/JPW mix to dip lube some 350 gr Ranch dog boolits.

Now, these were low velocity loads, but there was absolutely no leading.

This group was shot at 50 yards with 15 gr of Unique.

Should work fine, at worst you will have to clean out a little lead. GO FOR IT!
