Is there a cast boolit that I could use in my 30 carbine, 30-30, and M1 Garand all at reduced plinking loads.

I would like to use just one mold.
Can I get there?
Thanks and have a good 'un, Guy

I just ordered this guy:

This may be the best 30 cal flat nose design Ive ever seen.

Hi Lead Fred,
Good looking mold. The price is good also, but I think it to be a bit heavy for the M1 30 carbine. Thanks, Guy

Hullo, I'm thinking you would be better served with a mold that drops 95-120gr for the 30M2 carbine, the RD 165 gr Boolit mentioned above is great in the 30-30, I don't know how it would shoot in the M1 Grand, You might look at the Lee "Soup Can" for a lite boolit that is cheap and may work for you :groner:

I have heard of the Lee soup can. What is it and where do I find it? Thanks, Guy

Go to the Lee Precision link at the tp of the page. It is the 113 gr. RFN GC mold in 30 caliber.
#90362, also look at #90364, the 120 gr. RN gc.

The 120 gr feeds better in some m-1 carbines than the 113gr. due to the nose profile. Both are accurate.

Thanks. Picked up a 309-113 Lee. Trying it out this weekend. Have a good 'un, Guy

I use the little 32-20 flatnose for just 50 yard plinking but the loads don't cycle the actions
on a carbine or garand due to pistol powders.
