O.K. some things are making a little more sense. Started looking at mold options for .41 mag S&W M58. This is when i understood the whole tumble lube option. Didn't realize how the bullet was different, but seeing a picture really opened up my eyes.

Anyone have experience with this mold and likes/dislikes?

What are your experiences on Tumble Lube boolits in gereral?

I used a lot of them in a M57 and did fine -- when done right it was right accurate

They fly out a 3 inch barrel and hit the target. They don't seem to lead at the lowest powder volume. I have not tested them at full power. I have not tested them for accuracy, but it wasn't very good out of the gun I shot. My friend has a Taurus Tracker w/6" barrel and they don't lead his barrel either. He hasn't tested my boolits for accuracy either.

I use several Lee TL bullets in revolvers two of which are for the .41 Magnum. I use the TL410-175-SWC and the TL410-210-SWC. I push the 210 gr bullets to 1250 out of my 7 1/2" barreled Ruger Bisley with very good accuracy and very little leading. Pushed faster than that and leading crops up. I tumble lube them and also lube/size them in a 450. Both have shot quite well in several 4" M57s and a M58.

Larry,
Was curious if anyone had to size them and how they sized? Any problems?
Does the mold fill out good with those shallow grooves?

your supposed to be able to shoot them as cast. i have shot them sized and as cast out of my contender. its going to be a choice depending on what your bbl slugs at. i have several tl molds and dont have any problems with fillout as long as your temp is right. they are accurate enough for whitetail hunting in a super 14 barrel.

I shoot the 175s cast of range lead unsized and tumble lubed in LLA over 5 gr of Bullseye for 850 fps out of the 7 1/2" barrel. Accuracy is excellent, recoil and muzzle blast minimal and they are just plain fun to shoot being deadly on small game and cow pies.

I size the 210s in a Lyman 450 with a .410 H die and lube them with Javelina. I have pushed them, cast of WWs + 2% tin, at 1300 fps with minimal leading over 4756 but prefer 1150 fps with them and no leading over 8.5 gr Unique. That is an excellent mid range load. For truey magnum loads I use the RCBS 41-210-SWC and truth be known I prefer the Hornady 210 XTP at 1450 fps over H110 for big game but the RCBS at 1400 fps would do also.
