if you had plenty of both ww and liontype, would you use 50-50 and gc. or stright ww and water drop? i am still waiting for my tc 357 rem max 14 in barrel i arive s i am playing with different alloys. made some bullets 10 lb ww 2 lb lion 6 oz 60-40. ans 10 ww 4 lion 6 oz 60-40 and then 10 ww 10 lion 6 oz 60-40 . no water drop. all gc sized 358 magma lube. no i did not slug my barrel. will be pushing 200 gr bullet 12-1500 fps. looks like lilgun powder gives highest fps with low psi. my moulds are rcbs 200 gr gc for 35cal also lyman 358627 215 gr gc this mould list as being made for the 357max. even thow my lube is hard i dust the bullets in midways mica. just makes them slicker. thanks for any help.

686--I just completed some accuracy testing a couple weeks ago with my .357 mag GP-100. The load was 14.6/wc820 and the Lyman 358429 fired off the bench with a dot site. Velocity for the load is right at 1200fps. I use a standard 50 yd. bullseye target center for an aim point and slide peices of typing paper behind the aim point for individual groups. That way I get individual groups and a composite of all the groups I fire. Using straight ACWW I fired 4-5 shot groups@50yds and the average for the 5 groups was 2.7" and the composite for all 4 groups was 4 .125". Same load with 50/50 WW/ lino (AC) 4-5 shot groups averaged 1.91"@50yds and the composite for the whole 20 shots was 3" even. I had fired some groups some time before this using water dropped ww and don't remember them shooting any better than the ACWW did. I am a firm believer in the 50/50 mix for the .357. Nick
