1-2 thousands larger. I prefur, 2 Ths. But more important, if you have not slugged you barrels, it is recommended that you do so. Many barrels are a thousands or 2 off. For instance 30-40 krags can be anywhere for .308 to .311 and perhaps large.
So if you have the proper grove size, I would say go 2 ths. over when ordering you sizing dies.
Hope this helps.

ugotit33,

Yep, cobbmtmac has it right, you need to slug your barrels and cylinders first. Without that bit of very valuable information, you will be completely lost.

Another way is to measure a fired case mouth from a full power load in that particular gun. That gives you the maximum diameter you can size to and still expect to chamber. In the end it depends on your particular gun but .310 will work in many 308s, .359 in many 38's, .357 in many 9mm. The 9.62...got me.

Hullo Ugotit33, First of all, we would need to know what you are loading for???? Then you need to slug your bore on these weapons, and cylinders on revolvers, to find out what they size at before anyone can give you anything but a guess or what they use on their own guns.
To achieve good accuracy and reduce the amount of sizers you lay out good money for.....A little up front work will save you time and money down the road....IMHO :redneck: :cbpour:
