I'd appreciate any suggestions on mould makers and designs as well as alloy suggestions.I'd like to see approx 1950fps+ from a 150-175grn boolit belive it or not the bore in this rifle appears to be pristeen and wouldnt trade it for a winning lotto tic

I have a LBT LFN that weighs in on the heavy side of that . I haven't settled on a powder for it but it seems pretty easy to hit that velocity when I've been clocking loads .

RCBS makes a heavy weight of about one eighty that might work also .

CAUTION: The following post includes loading data beyond currently published maximums for this cartridge. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Neither the writer, nor the staff of castboolits assume any liability for any damage or injury resulting from use of this information. Lyman #311291 with gas check 170gr. Sized to .310" IMR 4895-27.5gr. Alloy BHN 15 or harder. Use a Lyman "M" die to expand the case mouth so no lead is shaved. How it will work in button riflilng, not sure. Have used this load in M94 and T/C contenders.

Go to the group buys, and see if you can get in on the RD 165gr boolit , these were designed and tested for the Marlin levers and are hard to beat...IMHO

I use the Lyman #311041 with the gas check in my Winchester 30-30. Works very well.
