Mix proportions

Got hold of a couple of kilo's of peuwter. What would be a good mix with pure lead for a good alloy for use in 45-70, 45ACP & 38Spl/357Mag?

If that's actual, for real, no-zinc, pewter you can treat it pretty much like straight tin. Start at maybe 2% and bump it up a little if needed. It's too costly to be using more than needed and more than about 5% will increase hardness only a little more than what you get with the 5%. Lots of details down in the Lead and Alloys forum.
