I'm new to all this and I want to cast for a muzzle loader. I plan on buying a Traditions Buckstalker in-line muzzle loader with 209 primer ignition. Can anyone recommend a good powder? Also, if you could recommend some good molds that don't need to be sized to fit a .50 cal bore or .429 or .451 cast( They can't be sized because I can't afford a sizer and the smaller bullets will be used in sabots for that caliber) Also, could I use a .452 diameter boolit in a .451 sabot? same, for .430 and .429. Thanks guys and gals.

You can P/U a lee sizer die that works in any standard press for about $15.

Lee Minie Bullet 360gr and American Pioneer does excellent in my cva accura. If the bullets fit a little loose, just use a file and roll the bullet across it and it will leave higher spots on the bullet for a tighter fit.
