Lee Sizer Dies

Has anyone ever opened a lee sizer die up to what they need for size? I would like both a .458 and .459 push through sizer dies but do not see them offered by Lee.

They are easy enough to lap out....or contact Buckshot, he will make what you want

I opened up a .308 die to .309 in just a few minutes the other night. I used a short length of steel rod that was slotted on one end, chucked it in a cordlees drill and used 600 grit sandpaper.

Buckshot's "thigh" method works well, do a search there are a plethora of post on this.

Or do what I do, just get Buckshot to make you one to the size you need, excellent work at an excellent price.

Someone here increased the sizes by running boolits through with a lapping compound. He said it was very easy an actually only took a little wile to lape out a thousanths or 2.
