30 Luger draws first blood

Well was out mowing my fields today. Took along my Browning Hi Power in 30 Luger loaded with my 100 gr TC nose bullets that I made the mould for. Seen this cat that's been pestering the farm for quite some time and today was his unlucky day. Deputy Al is right, those fast little 30 calibers are killers.

That they do, Joe. Your flat-point truncated cone design is a good one for critter whacking, too.

Of course, I'm deeply prejudiced in favor of mid-caliber centerfire handguns for small game and varmints. Far as I'm concerned, that is the venue for which the 30-32 caliber sideirons are best suited.

I sure like the 32 H and R from my old Bisley Ruger. I use a moderate load of Unique and the Lee soupcan sized at 312 and it is my best shooting handgun bar none. Surprisingly the cheap CZ pistols are deadly accurate once the trigger is polished. I kinda like carrying one as a knock around field gun.
