...would anyone be willing to mail out about a half dozen of either one, or both of these bullets? Alloy and hardness doesnt make a difference, I want to see if they will cycle through my 1860 Uberti Henry before I drop the cash on a mold.

Id throw a few bucks your way for the shipping and effort...

Thanks.
Joe

My experience with the Henry replicas in 45 Colt is that most everything will feed well if the round is not over length. The brass lifter is straight up and straight down in movement, no angled entry out of magazine and then into chamber as with modern designs. Its been a while but I seem to remember that 1.55" worked for me using the 454424.

Sure j23. PM me your address and I'll send you some. Don't need any money.

Welcome to the forum too.

there are a couple [3 iirc] of different 454424 molds available.
some will feed crimped in the groove, mine wont i have to seat it to the driving band.
oddly enough this is where lyman noted it would be seated to at the time.they knew about the problem and still made the molds.
qa/qc was over ruled by the dollar even then.
they do shoot well though.
another mold you might want to try is 452664,it's a rnfp of 250 grs and has a nice lube groove.
