Can anyone recommend an aftermarket stock for a Savage M11 that would fit the Adams&Bennet magnum contour barrel I have?
The diameter of the new barrel is 1.040" at the barrel thread area. I would prefer not to "wallow out" the original stock to fit the new barrel. Laminant would be my material of choice, but composite runs a close second.
Maybe some of you folks who have done this type conversion can shed a little light on the subject?

Try the Fajen stocks.

Try Boyds Gun Stocks. You will still have to open the barrel channel though. They make some real nice laminate stocks.

Mod 11 in the same as a 10, or a 110 short action, or a Stevens 200 short action. The Bell & Carson should fit the bill, and they are VERY nice stocks

thier's a couple places to shop. Remember Savage changed over to single stack magazines so the stocks are different for the two types.

You might try http://www.stockadegunstocks.com.
I got a stock from them some years back and I'm pretty happy with it.
