Hi All,
Amid the barbeques, picnics and celebrations of this holiday weekend, please take a moment to remember those who gave all to keep us free.

Flanders Fields
by Lieutenant Colonel John Mc Crae

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

I am told that Flag etiquette dictates that you fly the Flag at half-staff on Memorial Day until 12:00pm, then raise it to full staff.

In any case, fly the Flag.

This country, at it's best, at it's worst, is still the greatest country on the face of this earth. We enjoy more freedoms than any other nation on the face of this earth. Thank God............................................... ...........Lee:)

Lee,
I truly believe that our Constitution and especially our Bill of Rights were divinely inspired because they are such perfect documents. I cannot abide by those who would seek to remove any reference to the almighty from our public life. What part of "One Nation Under God" do they not understand? Just one man's opinion
