I picked up a Lee TL452-200-SWC to use in my Blackhawk chambered in .45 Colt. Trouble is I cannot find the load data I need, does anybody have a suggestion using Unique or Bullseye powder?

10gr. HS-6 with the Lyman 452488, discontinued mold, still see it on e-bay, shoots very well in my 5.5" Blackhawk in 45 Colt. Your Lee bullet might like that powder.
8.0 gr. Unique may do well in your gun. Would be a safe start in the blackhawk for a 200 gr. bullet.

i use 5 grs of clays [similar to b-eye in burn rate] with my 200 swc's. and 160's and 250's for light fun loads.
use 225 or 250 data you'll be fine.

I just finished loading up some 6.0 W231 using CCI350 primers and 200SWC .452 boolits. It's a great combo--magnum primer to ignite small amount of powder in a cavernous casing to push a relatively light boolit.

Great plinking/target-shooting (close range) load.

I've done 8.0 Unique with the same boolit and a standard large pistol primer, and I've also used 10.5 grains of AA#5 with the same primer and boolit. All shot well.

Saw a Bullseye load tonight in one of my OLD data manuals that called for 4.8 grains of Bullseye, standard large pistol primer and 200SWC boolit.

The SPEER #13 manual lists 6.5 to 7.5grs Bullseye with a 200gr lead bullet in the 'standard pressure' 45Colt loadings. I use 7.0grs Bullseye with the LEE 200gr rnfp, and that load is very accurate. No leading. It is is also very consistent and accurate out of my Marlin 1894.

That manual also lists 8.0 to 9.5grs UNIQUE with the 200gr lead bullet.

Hope this helps, good luck. :drinks:
