Im casting my 45 230 grain. RN from WW...
What would you consider the avg. weight for them (keepers)
Most are being cast 228 thur 232.5... anything under or obove this are tossed back into the pot.
Should I separate them closer? These are just used for plinking and testing, not any kind of compition.

as long as there are no flaws ie visiable voids/ air pockets , wrinkles ,and bullet and base are filled out well i would use them all !

I think you could smooth out your casting method and get those down to about 1 grain difference. At least seperate them into groups. You have a difference of 4.5 grains max on a 230 grain boolit. That would be a difference of 2 1/4%. It depends on what you are shooting. Pins or Plates, no big deal. Bullseyes? I would seperate them. You sure can shoot them all. I toss the really light ones back in the pot if I weigh them. This is usually for rifle shooting though. I shoot all my peestol boolits with just a visiual inspection as they go through the sizer. Even for a match.

I just finished casting 230gr RN Lee TL boolits and they work pretty darn good!!!

They range from 219.5-221 with 92/6/2 lead:ant:tin alloy.

They tumble lube just fine and cycle perfectly in my Ruger P97 and Springfield 1911s.
