I just got my NOE 311291 4 cavity mold and fired up my Magma 40 lb'r pot to check it out. The alloy in it was close to Lyman #2 at 750F.
Very nice mold with all 4 cavities dropping out either on opening or just a light tap to release a couple that did hang in there.
This mold is definitely on the fat side with this alloy ( better then too small), with the nose at .303 and the base .3135 --- and dropped at just over 167.0gn and with a GC & lube come in at 171.0gn.
It is snowing here this afternoon so haven't had a chance to get out to the range and check these out. I am presently working on loads for my M1 garand so when I get a break, I will give these a try.
