Can anyone tell me what their CZ 75B slugged out to?

Also what Lee mold bullet profile works best for a Sig 220 .45? Mine has generally fed everything I can get a hold of, but wasn't sure with cast bullets.

Which one? I've had several and they were all over the place for diameter and depth of grooves (height of lands?)

I like semi wad cutters of 200 grain in all my 45s but have quit casting anything in that caliber other than the LEE 230 gr truncated cone tumble lube boolit as it works in my XD as well as all my other pistols.

By the way, if you like the CZ75 type pistol but are looking for a bit more precision in the manufacture you may want to save a bunch of bucks and look at the Tanfoglio line. Much nicer and my 10mm and 40 S&W mike exactly .4000 on slugging and my .45 shows .4510 They even sell slide and barrel assemblies for them to change caliber from .22 rf, 9mm, 357sig, 38super, 40S&W, 10mm and 45acp. the 357sig / 40 / 10mm only require a barrel the rest come with complete slide assy, spring etc.and cost $200.00 for the whole deal.

My CZ75 Compact slugged .356". I shot lead bullets sized to .357-.3575" with great success in this pistol.

To be exact, I have a 2003 75BD. My 220 is circa 1995. I seriously can't get my Sig to jam on anything I've tried, and I'd like to continue that trend with the right bullet profile.

You need to understand that having someone tell you what their bore slugged is
a bit like calling your brother in law and having him check the oil in his car rather
than you checking the oil in your car. Hey, they are both Ford Tauruses!

No benefit is obtained since no two guns are alike, even with consecutive serial
numbers from the same assy line the barrel dimensions could be very different.

This is a pointless request. We seem to get a slow but steady request for "Hey what does
the bore slug on a XXYY rifle/pistol ?" I guess the expectation is that if one measures a
particular value, that theirs will be the same or real close.

This is a fallacy, although it may seem reasonable to the beginner.

If you expect to get any benefit at all you have to slug YOUR gun. Otherwise, just start
with the "standard" for the caliber. It is as likely to be correct or even more likely than
somebody else's gun's barrel diam.

My 220 does not like SWC style boolits. YMMV

I will be staying with a government profile or TC style boolit.

THanks Mike.
Wrong terminology. I'm fairly good at that. :drinks:
