Well,

I"ve always been interested in the 7mm-08 caliber; finally did enough horse trading to wind up with a T/C Encore 15" in this caliber topped with a Nikon scope.

I'm open to suggestions; haven't tried CB's yet, but I'm sure you folks will keep me well informed and up to date. I plan to use this combination to hunt coyotes here in SC [yep, they're here and almost epidemic] out ot 150 yards or so.

Thanks,

HV

Depends how short your freebore is. My Sako loves the 135 grain Lee because it fits without having to load into the powder space. Shoots them very fine too.

I've had pretty good luck with the 7mm soupcan and the saeco #071. More so with the saeco. I recently bought a 168 rcbs sillywet mould and will report back some time after hunting season.

There may be a group buy 7mm hunter soon. Stay tuned to the group buy section.

If you haven't already get your name on the list in the G/B discution for the 7mm bore rider , Last I saw we were almost half way there . (And can use all the names we can get ) . I for one would rather give my money to one of the vendor sponsors than one of the mass production ( big names ).
I just noticed that they started a new thread in the G/B page , So don't be shy and get on board !
