Tried search and got too many hits. What kind of digital camera--moderately priced--has a really good closeup focus so I can take pics of little boolets and see detail. A lot of you take really great pics, so I'm asking. Everything is on sale tomorrow.

I use a Nikon d40. It works pretty good in macro mode.

Most any "point and shoot" digital camera of 7 megapixels or so will work. One handy method is to shoot the picture as close as the camera will focus, then crop the picture for centering.

indeed,, anything with the macro button anymore will do the job. remember you do not need to take the pics at the highest resolution for posting pictures on the web.

If you have a good zoom I have found sometimes you get better pictures by stepping back a bit and zooming in as much as you can.
