I've been casting and shooting SAECO # 315 HP's out of my 308 Win. and 30 - 06's. It has turned into one of my all time favorites. I'll be deer hunting this weekend, so today I fine tuned my Rem. 700 , 30 -06 with 20 grs. of 2400 and the SAECO # 315 HP , bullets sized .310 ", with Wolf LR Primers. with the nose of the bullet seated about 1/16 " into the lead of the rifling. Gas checks were seated with the new NOE gas check seating tool. Bullets were sized in a Lee .310 push thru sizer and lubed in a separate operation in a .311 H & I die in my Lyman 45. This group was shot at 80 yards.

When this mold arrived, I noticed that it has a small " burr" on the end of the nose of the bullet. Looks like a small " chip " was spun in the mold by the cherrie. Obviously it does no harm, so I ignore it.
