I have casted some 30 caliber lee 309-120 round nose Mold # 90364

can I use this for the following
ruger blackhawk in 30 carbine
ruger P89 in 30 luger
NEF in 30/30 & 30/06 light loads

method I use is cast with Wheel weights drop into bucket of cold water inspect
then Lee alox LUBE 24 hour dry time
size and add hornady gas check
then Lee alox Lube with a 24 hour dry time
correct WAY ?? What else I can I use these in ??

Thanks for any input ??

I don't think you will have any issues, except the 30/30, unless it is a single-shot. I use this boolit in my Enfields as a plinker, in front of H4198. This is also my choice boolit for my SKS, using H322. Have fun!

I have both of those plus an NEF in 7.62x39
just thought that was kind small to get any accuracy out of,

How is the leading in an SKS ? guess AN AK would work with also ?

bullets are pretty hard can't scratch them .

thanks

Ideas already !!

It'll work fine in the 30 cal Ruger Blackhawk. There are a number of powders that you can use. I have used Unique and IMR 4227. You'll need to experiment with the sizing diameter....309 or.310 should do it and slight taper crimp-not too much. Will work well in the 30-30 and 30-06 too. LLS

if that is a pic of the actual boolit, you should be able to use it in almost anything that is 30 caliber. as long as it will chamber. i think that round nose is round enough to use in a tube magazine. you just do not want to use spitzers in a tube. if all you are using is the L.L.A. for lube, just keep the velocity down to a reasonable roar instead of a high pitched scream, and you should be fine.
