Another Reason I Deer Hunt

Besides putting meat in the freezer it is a reason to be out in nature to enjoy some of the beauties of the world. The first 2 pictures are sunrise from my stand, and the 3rd is sunset from the stand. That alone makes the effort worthwhile.
Even though we had a great weekend I didn't see anything that I was going to take. We are headed back out this afternoon for the weekend and the weather is going to be similar, (great). There is only another week of gun season so there is a little more pressure to score.

I couldn't agree more. I missed my buck the other day by about 2 seconds. He was just faster than me but that's OK. I saw him and he saw me about the same time. By the time I shouldered my 30/06 and tried to get him in my cross hairs he was gone. Don't bother me a bit, like I told my hunting buddy for me it was still a great day. :mrgreen:
