I am reloading 44 mag 240 gr swc and the dimature is .429 is that the size of the resizing die that I SHOULD USE? ,and the mold should be .430?

You should slug your bore and cyllinder to see what your particular gun needs. .430 is industry standard for cast boolits but if your mold drops them bigger by .001-3, as they often do, I would go with a .431 or .432 sizer. If It is a tumble lube boolit I wouldn't size at all.

If you want .429 boolit's than use a .429 sizer they allow for a little spring back in the alloy. You need to have an accurate micrometer or caliper if you want to know for sure want diameter you have. There is a lot of variable's with mould's, sizing die's and alloy's. Most mould's should cast a one or two thousandth's over to allow for sizing but you never know till you measure. How are you lubing ? What alloy ? FB
