i saw the other one just below-- I am shooting a18.5" ruger M-77 .358
Load is saeco 245 gc-- with starting load of H322 for 250 gr bullets- 38 and 38. 5
good case fill and will chrono hopefully tomorrow as I am shooting for around 2000 or so -- to night it shot a three shot triangle of 1.7 at 50 long steps-- so it will work as it is my swamp or bottom gun - -- now I know I can play with seating depth, -- I shot these at .359 and will try some at .358- sadly the stock has been fixed many times so it is not in the best shape-- I will not have a lot of time to play now as next Sat is opening of deer season here in West TN-- but was wondering what suggestions you might have --normally I shoot a 220 gr Speer at 2350+ out of it
and my 22" weatherbye .358 Win is usually loaded with 200 gr Remington CL PSP at 2600+ so while I have used nothing but cast in my pistol this is new to me in a rifle but fun:-D

I have a couple of .358 winnies. One is on a m600 action and one is on a 700 action. Shilen barrels on both, I have had very good luck with 3031 and 4320 powder in both, with both the Saeco 245 gr, and the Lyman 358009. I've also had good accuracy with the RCBS 200gr. with AA5744, at reduced velocity. Still adequate for deer.:D
