A little while back I sent a 225462 mold to buckshot to have it hollowpointed. I didn't get a chance to cast it until today. I can say I am very pleased and can't wait to get some shooting done with them. Cast about 100 or so, lost 50% or so. With a little technique adjustment and maybe a flame to keep the HP pin hotter, I think I can get much better boolits. Avg wt was 54.6 gr bare, varied less than .2 over the 25 or so I weighed after culling. I quit weighing after that. I don't know what the main difference is, but it is much easier to cast than my factory Lyman 225415 HP. I hope to send more molds to get done after the first of the year.

I also got a 460 push through sizer which was for my RD 45 molds. Worked great, shot the 450 Marlin today-cloverleafs at 50. Unfortunately I couldn't shoot at 100 yet.

Buckshot - could you do a .2245 push through?

Those boolits are beautiful.

I am also very happy with some sizing dies Buckshot made for me.

They arrived quickly, were not expensive considering custom diameter, and size

to spec.
