...............It's a bitty 3" rotary table :-) It's quite well made too.

It's horizontal and vertical capable. The table is carried in a suitably wide bearing. The perimeter of the table on the underside is also ground, and it is fully supported as it rides on the ground top of the body casting. It's a pretty snazzy little dude, ha.

It actually zeros out! The collar is in 1/4 degrees, but no vernier scale for anything finer. The knob has only 1/2 degree play. According to the little sheet of instructions the worm gear is silicone bronze. Natually I had to take it apart and I was very impressed with it. Turning the rotating knob to check, it is correctly calibrated as one complete rotation will have each succeding 10 degree mark line up correctly all the way around the table.
The box had a blue ink stamp on it of "India". I think I'd almost rather have something made in China then India but danged if this little rotab isn't a neatly and cleanly made unit. I have no immediate need for it, and none foreseen in the future either. However it was so appealing I went ahead and bought it. Now I get to make some weensy widdow 'T' nuts and clamps for it :-)
If it was just a little smaller you could make a belt buckle out of it!
