Supplies are starting to be shipped to retailers...
I was at a large gun store in PA today and there is 5 tier shelf completely filled with center fire primers ... limit 1000. I bought another 1000 Federal 150's for $29.95

The speciality primers are still non-existent: Federal 150 Match and CC Br2

I just went to a fw gun stores today. First time in about 4 or 5 months. Last tme no primmers for any price. This time one store had CCI sm & lg rifle and some magnum pistol. The other just had sm & lg magnum pistol. Loking better. I paid $45 a box which is more than I wanted but at least I got some and the suply wasn't huge but it wasn't bad either.

One of our small-town stores had almost a full range of Remington primers today. I'm not in need of most sizes, but I did buy 2000 Small Rifle Benchrest primers at $34 per thousand.

The other store in town had some new powder supplies, and I glommed a couple pounds of H335 at $21 each.

It does appear that the crunch may be easing-up a bit.

Hit our local gun show today and came home with 1000 Wolf SR primers for $30+tax.

Also saw a couple of 35 Rem rifles that I will go back for tomorrow & see if my bargaining is at least medium-good...

I was in the local gun/tire/grocery store last week and bought 1000 Winchester SR primers for $28.75. (Also got 125 pounds of WW). The rip off store up the highway has lots of Federal Primers for $60/1000. Won't be buying any of those.

Got an e-mail from the Natchez product availability automated system Friday night at about 8:30 PM. CCI BR4 primers!! I hadn't been able to get any of these for a long, long time. Long before the Obama syndrom set in, CCI claimed to be having issues with getting the sensitivity correct on the BR4's. I daresay I'd been looking for a case of these going on three years.

I just happened to be sitting in front of the computer when the e-mail came and I broke the sound barrier getting my wallet out and ordering a case.

I needed these really badly and was VERY glad to get them.

In the great northwest USA

Lots primers and powder are in the area but being limited to how many you can buy.

Most all the stores are limiting 400-500 primers and 2 lbs of powder per person per day.

By by to all those overly high priced primers:bigsmyl2:

Horders ** ** ****. Primer limits are OK. At least the once a month primer buyer has something to look forward to. Having worked 25 years in a gunshop I've seen these hording clowns trying to corner the market on anything is short supply. My boss the owner controlled who bought what and most were happy he did.
