Just got this mold (New). It's dropping from 166-170 gn boolits instead of 160. Is this normal?

This is from the same pot. Cast maybe 40 boolits and that was the weight variation. Emptied pot and refilling with 50/50 ww/stickon ww.

The bullet mould weight is just an estimate and it can very from mould to mould. It is usually the weight expected from WWs or #2 alloy or in BP bullets case from pure lead. You are mixing WWs and pure so that gives you extra weight.

(just wondering) Is that weight with gas check or without? I assume the tumble lube wont affect weight that much.

I've got the same mould and it's dropping avg 167 with straight w/w. I haven't had the chance to shoot any yet. How well do they shoot?
