Hey all,I need some loads for the 45 colt,using 2400,the rounds will be used in a old army with a R&D conversion cyl. and in a peita 1858 with a kirst conversion cyl. with loading gate and peita 1873 colt clone.I will be using lee 452-200 and 452-255 boolits. the reasion I want to use 2400 is I have a pound and a half.the only load I could find is 13gr. to16.5gr. for a 200gr. boolit.I have to git by on ssi,so I have to be frugal.thanks Ed

Hi Ed;
I understand the need for frugality but can't see that this course will accomplish it.
The low to medium pressures you'll need for your chosen firearms are not conducive to the use of H2400.
Try to find someone with some Unique or Red Dot or any of many pistol powders, who will swap with you.
H2400 is not at it's best in those pressure ranges and will leave you discouraged and very dirty guns.
There will be another gun show in Augusta in January. At the Armory. If you can make it let me know and we'll work out something f-f.
