I just wanted to take the time to give props to Freedom475 of X7 Leather for his great work and service. I ordered one of his Sling and Buttstock Cartridge Holder combos he has on his website. The one on his site shows with loops also on the sling. I emailed him and inquired about the combo in a different color and without loops on the sling (I wanted it for a hunting gun so I wanted simple) and he replied no problem so I ordered. That was last Friday and to my surprise I had it in hand this Friday, Wow. The workmanship is beautiful and the fit to my 1973 Marlin 336 in 35 Rem is perfect. I will be buying his leather for my other levers as I can afford to (IE.. when the boss lets me). If you want some great leather I would highly recommend his work.

That's some good looking leather. I ordered a cartridge slide from Wes and can't wait until it comes in.

What's his website to make it easier for us to look up his work?

I purchased several of the "Dump Pouches" and have been very pleased with them.

I bought a holster and belt from Wes a while back. He is great to work with and does very nice work. He went above and beyond in my case and I recommend his work.

Let's see - to date, I have bought eight holsters, three cartridge carriers, one dual magazine carrier, three knife sheaths, one belt, three dual cylinder carriers, and had some custom alterations to existing leather. All of the items I ordered from Wes are built to order. All have excellent workmanship, superior materials, and have been completed in a timely manner.

I wish I had photos of the most challenging custom holster he has made for me; I know Wes has some because I insisted he take them when I picked it up. The holster is a 15-degree cant full flap cross-draw for a Ruger Mk III Target pistol.

But wait, there's more! The Mk III has an Ultradot L/T holographic sight mounted. And the pistol-with-L/T fits within the holster. Think about it. The Mk III's target front sight is designed to dig into holster leather. There is a bulge with little length but much height - and everything fits smoothly within the full flap holster.

Did I mention that his prices are reasonable?
