Our site has now been updated to refelect some new boolit design additions as well as denoting designs that were built to Group buy specifications.

In the Rifle Boolit Designs, we have added the following;

226-47 GC
This boolit was designed for the Hornet. It drops at 0.226 diameter and 46.6 grains. To date, I have driven this boolit at full jacketed velocity with accuracy. I have also bored out the GC shank and used it as a PB boolit for 22 LR/22 Mag velocities. Fine accuracy when tested at 50 yards for a squirrel load. This boolit will be offered in 2C, 4C, and 6C mold sizes. No HP's are currently offered for this boolit design.

312-150 PB
I designed this boolit, with 45 2.1's assistance, for a plinker in the 30-30, 30'06, and those with similar throat dimensions. It has two crimp grooves to accomodate this. This boolit drops at 0.312 on all bands. The nose is a 640 style and casts at 0.3105 just above the crimp groove. As cast weight is 147 grains.

Old Feller's Frankenstein
This boolit is outlined in a Group Buy thread. Old Feller designed the original for his big throated 8x57R or Steyr. It casts out at 230 grains. All driving bands are 0.339 and the nose is 0.319 diameter. This boolit is a stepped gas checked design and it is set up for a 338 GC.

35 PP/348 Plinker
This is a paper patch design that can also double as a PB plinker for the 348. It casts out at 0.352 on all bands. I have listed the ideal design lengths for the 35 Remington and Whelen. I can cut the boolit length to any of the band lengths desired though. The full length slug, all bands shown, weighs 261 grains. Lots of options to fit a variety of throats and case neck lengths. Please PM me if you need specific information.

462-465 GC
This is a lever gun design for the Marlin. The original boolit was a Cast Performance 460 gr GC. It didn't feed when seated to the crimp groove. This one does in both the 450 Marlin and 45-70. A heavy hitter for young shoulders. It drops at 0.462+ diameter and 465 grains.

In the Pistol Boolit Designs, we've added;

410426
This 41 caliber boolit was an original Lyman design for the 401 Winchester self loading. It is also at home in the 41 magnum revolver. I have yet to see if it will feed in the Marlin 41 Lever. It drops at 0.412 on the main body bands and 0.4105 on the little nose band. Cast weight is 246.5 grains. So far it has shown to be an extremely accurate target boolit and also for longer range. I will be testing it soon to see how it flys as a hollow point.

I'm currently turning 4-5 more cherry's right now. I should be getting the 6.5 drawing soon and will be working on those next along with a few others. I currently have all of the Keith GB's on hand. Soon will have the most all of the 640's too.

I just got my 35 PP / 348 plinker mould and it is beautiful. Just arrived in the mail today and I have to say I don't have a better looking mould out of all that I own. Eager to start casting. Very well packaged and even the most ham fisted postal package abuser couldn't have hurt this thing. Transaction completed in a matter of weeks.

Great news on the 6.5 mould. I've held off getting one for fear it would be to small for my Swedes. Can't wait to see the drawings/specs.

If I am reading your site correctly there is no additional fee if the design is on your list of bullets? Adam R. Smith

Correct. If I list the design, then you just buy it in however # of cavities you want. Then add in any options if desired.

It's available right now. I just got off the phone with Wiljen about the update. It's going to him tomorrow and he'll be working on it to improve the resolution and add the changes.

What are the as-cast specs of your 454190? In particular, the as-cast diameter.
I'll order one if I can get a solid .453+ in straight WW alloy. I would prefer one that threw even larger (.455+)

IIRC I sized both to cast out at 0.455 with WW's. They definitely go 0.454 for sure. If you want a 100% for sure answer on the 0.455 dia. I can make that happen on Saturday and get back to you on Monday.

No, that's OK. I'll order one. After receiving it and giving it a try I'll consider ordering another.

I'm casting for different firearms that prefer different sized bullets. .454 meets the bulk of my 454190 casting needs.

I'll wait a week or so till the new order form, 5 cavity pricing, etc shows up.

BABore- you mentioned that you would have most of the 640's done as well, are you doing a 32 cal 640 too? I'm gonna need one of those 40 cals when they are ready too! Thanks, Billy
