I have load data with numbers of 6 plus grins of B'seye behind this boolit.
Seems a bit stiff at best.
What say ye?
New Lyman has 4.1-6.1 BE for 170 LSWC
I use Unique at 6.0 for the 170 bullet and it is a comparable powder to BE. Max is 7.0
A little loud but works fine in my S&W m66 6" barrel.
" and it is a comparable powder to BE. "
Sorry, but Unique isn't comparable to BE. Two completely different powders.

Well they are comparable in the sense that they can be compared..... Bullseye has smaller flakes, lower bulk, meters more easily and is faster burning than Unique. It takes less BE to achieve peak permissible pressures. About 30-40% less in many loadings!
I suppose if you look at it that way that IMR 4831 is also comparable to Bullseye.
I stand corrected...the fingers were typing faster than my brain early this morning!
I'm not trying to give anyone a hard time. We just need to be careful what we say here as many novice reloaders read and go to their benches thinking that they have read the " gospel ".
