Hi!
I have a Magma star with the bullet feeder, and was a bit bummed when I found out it only would accept lighter bullets in each caliber. I shoot a lot of heavy handgun bullets, but they won't fit inside the bullet feeder's transfer bar. About how heavy bullets will the different caliber feeders accept, for example the .38 and the .45? Not a very big problem, but I just want to be able to use the bullet feeder, it wasn't for free.
Thanks.

i've done 180's in my 38 feeder and 300's in the 45.
it has partly to do with the nose shape as well as how you set up the drop tube.
i've also ground a beveled slide to feed 160 gr rnfp's for the 45.
turning the drop tube on a slight angle can help with some boolits and raising it with others.
the biggest detriment to size is the holder for the drop tube the opening is only so big.
you might be able to modify it some.
i am still able to single feed mine and do g/c's faster than a lyman or rcbs though.
and it's as fast as a push through,it just lubes too.
