What's a good starting load for H110 with a Lee TL 158 grain SWC? I've had good luck with 14 grains using j-word bullets of the same weight, but I can't find a listing for lead boolits in either of my books or on Hodgdon's site.

The RCBS book says that 16.5 to 17.5g of H110 with a mag primer.

I just shot some loads I loaded with 16 gr of W296 (same as H110 for all practical purposes) and a 158 gr cast bullet. shot well in my Marlin carbine.

I found 16 gr H110/296 to be too hot in my GP100 with 158-160 gr boolits. Try 15gr...dale

My S&W model 28 loves 17.3 grains of 296 with either Lyman 358477, RCBS 38-150-SWC, or even Lasercast 158 grain SWCs.
