While at an estate sale on Saturday I checked out the tool shed. Bought 2, 1 lb rolls of solder for $4. Those will be handy some day.

"Cheap solder"

I saw this and thought it was an "oxymoron" joke.

Great find.....keep looking........there are bargains out there!

I got a small melting pot with a handle that was designed to mold fishing weights? It cost a whopping $2.00! I use it for slugging and lapping barrels. It only holds 2-3 lbs but heats up fast and is very handy for these small jobs. I've even used it to "test" a new mold with a few boolits cast with my faithful dipper.

I got pounds of it at the recycler all the time, in the "lead section" for 75 cents a pound. Its all the same junk to them. :)
