Ok, so I have a newbie question. I've seen on quite a number of posts (just read one about a Keith 429421) that has a number designation for the mold design and I was wondering if there is a repository or database or book or something with those numbers listed?
I'd like to learn how to figure out without having to guess what a 429421 (or whatever) is in general but I have not seen any mention of and list or database for it.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be most appreciative.

Thanks.

Look in "Mould References" for what you need. Be aware the lists are not all inclusive as I have a few moulds that don't appear on the makers lists. But for general reference you'll find what you need. If people keep contributing old catalogs and what not the collection will grow.

Hope this helps a little at least.

will show you that particular mold made by Lyman. But I don't know of a list on line. If Lyman makes it however you can usually Google the number and come up with something. The Lyman Casting Handbook also lists a lot of them. But not all.

NEI designs are all on line, in the catalog they are drawn to size and can be measured.
