Just got off the phone with a friend that made the US LRML Team. Actually I have 3 friends on the team. The South Africans are handing the US Team their a$$ on a platter. Two years ago the US Team won in Cape Town and the South Africans got REAL serious about practicing for the next one and it is showing. Three of their team broke the 900yd world record yesterday.
The conditions have been pretty bad, several folks were carted off to the hospital for heat related problems and when it isn't hot and humid it is raining. Two of the top US shooters have had problems.
The up side to him anyway is that he is learning a lot from other folks attending and knowing him and his ability he will put it to good use.
The next world Championship will be at Bisley England in 2011.
