"Used to be gold, but now lead is the most expensive metal."

If that is the case I'm a multi-billionaire!!! Think about all the guns and ammo I could buy with that!

Overall, this is old news, with a few stats I didn't already know. I haven't bought anything in a while, so I don't know what prices are like, but willing to bet they'll be going down

Kitco metals.......... Shows Lead just under a buck! It's half way up the scale to it's all time high.
I can see metals going up, much beter investment than Banks.US dollar, Auto makers stock. Metal can be sold everywhere in the world.

Yeah, msn.com linked to the IDENTICAL story from their home page. First rate news flash, only what, 10 months old??

now that ammo and componets are starting to clear up, we get a story about the shortage.....or is this supposed to be a history lesson?

no, it is still gold, i just checked it yesterday. gold is going for $1000.00 an ounce, and lead is $1.00 a POUND. if we had to pay 1k per ounce or more for lead, none of us would be shooting anything!

RELOAD AND CAST! Not sure why, but a little birdie told me 2 years ago to stock up...And I'm glad he did! My brother still doesn't get it though, he won't cast and only reloads for hunting.

Last I saw. platinum was worth a lot more than gold. Some ultrarare metals even more.
